Next meeting of UKDS

The next meeting of the UK Deans of Science will be at The Royal Society of Chemistry, London on Thursday 8 December.

Tim Bradshaw, Head of Enterprise and Innovation for the CBI will talk on "The new research and innovation strategy for the UK".

Sir Bill Wakeham, Vice President of the Royal Academy of Engineering and chair of the South East Physics Network (SEPnet), will give a presentation on "Advising the House of Lords Science and Technology Committee: lessons from SEPnet and the postgraduate agenda".

Chi Onwuruh MP, Shadow Minister for Business, Innovation and Skills, will talk about "A new ambition for Britain: the central role of research and innovation".
